In Academia
Brandi is an instructor in the College of Media and Communications at Texas Tech University. She has taught longform journalism and principles of journalism.
She serves as co-advisor for the college’s digital student newspaper, the Hub@TTU, and has guest lectured for various courses in journalism and environmental science/biology.
In May 2023, she completed her master’s degree from New York University, where her thesis focused on the evolution of modern-day environmental journalism.
